For becoming real estate salesperson in GA, 75 classroom hours covering approved courses and that too from the accredited schools are needed. Within a year of getting real estate license, 25 hours of post license course are required to be completed. Georgia real estate broker license is given to the applicant who have completed 60 classroom hours of prelicensing education.
Non resident can get Georgia real estate licence via reciprocity but for this the applicant will have to purchase or lease a residence in the state. Along with this report equal to the GCIC should be submitted to the commission with the proof of educational and examination history. Copy of any disciplinary action taken should also be submitted along with mentioned documents.
GA Real Estate License renewal can be done online. The license should be renewed 4 months prior to the date of expiry as no grace period is given if you do not renew the GA real estate license on time. Now if GA real estate license renewal is not done on time then it should be reinstated. For this due date must not be crossed by 30 days limit, license before the renewal should be active and candidate must have completed the requirements of continuing education.
